The J Project Band has performed for The M&T Bank Syracuse Jazzfest several times. We consider it to be an honor each time we were invited to perform. Each time we’ve been asked to perform, we try to bring a different jazz flavor to the stage. The J Project Band has received several nominations for, The Sammy’s “Syracuse Area Music Awards”. Nominated for Best Soul / R&B Group. and consider it to be an honor to be recognized by the downtown music community at large.

We have also received several nominations from The Syracuse Urban Music Awards, Nominated for: Best Live R&B Band for 2003. Best live Jazz act for 2003 and Best R&B act for 2003, we consider that an honor as well, being recognized in the urban music community at large, Lets us know that we are loved in our community as well. We have performed for the Soul Café’ in NYC where we received rave reviews; we have shared the stage with the likes of “Frankie Beverly & Maze”,” New Birth”,” The SOS Band” and “Morris Day and Time”. Just to perform on the same stage and meet with these great artists, were all great moments for us; we’ve always wanted to and hopefully will continue to perform with other great artists in the future.
